Mr. McCarthy moved that the President's message be referred to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered printed as a House document (H.Doc. 115-86). Agreed to without objection.

The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on January 30, 2018, at 4:58 p.m.: That the Senate agreed to the House amendment to S. 534 and the Senate passed H.R. 4708 without amendment.

JOINT SESSION DISSOLVED - The Speaker declared the Joint Session of the two Houses dissolved.
