DEBATE - Pursuant to the provisions of H. Res. 1028, the House proceeded with one hour of debate on the DeFazio amendment en bloc No. 4.

Amendments en bloc offered by Mr. DeFazio, comprised of the following amendments printed in Part E of House Report 116-438 as en bloc No. 4: Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Ms. Blunt Rochester to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches which by direction of the Chair, would be limited to 15 per side of the aisle.

SPEAKER'S APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL - Pursuant to section 4(a) of H. Res. 967, the Journal of the last day's proceedings was approved.

Today's prayer was offered by the House Chaplain, Rev. Patrick J. Conroy.

The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of July 1.

The Speaker announced that the House do now recess. The next meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. today.
