DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on H.R. 4607.

Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 4296 and H.R. 4607. Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 4296 and H.R. 4607 under closed rules with one hour of debate equally divided and controlled by the Chair and Ranking Member of the Committee on Financial Services for each measure.

Considered under the provisions of rule H. Res. 747. H.R. 4607 — "To amend the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 to ensure that Federal financial regulators perform a comprehensive review of regulations to identify outdated or otherwise unnecessary regulatory requirements imposed on covered persons, and for other purposes."

MOMENT OF SILENCE - The House observed a moment of silence in honor of those who have been killed or wounded in service to our country and all those who serve and their families.
