Mr. Palmer moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill. H.R. 1209 — "To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 901 N. Francisco Avenue, Mission, Texas, as the "Mission Veterans Post Office Building"."

The Speaker announced that votes on suspensions, if ordered, will be postponed until a time to be announced.

The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of March 5.

The House received a communication from Vicky Hartzler, Member of Congress. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Hartzler notified the House that she had been served with civil subpoenas for documents and deposition testimony issued by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, she had determined that compliance with the subpoenas is not consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.

The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on March 5, 2018 at 10:12 a.m.: That the Senate passed S. 1621, S. 2248, S. 2372; and passed H.R. 3656, without amemdment.

The Speaker announced that the House do now recess. The next meeting is scheduled for 5:00 P.M. today.

Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform - Pursuant to section 30442(b)(3) of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-123), the Speaker appointed jointly with the Majority Leader of the Senate, Mr. Womack of Arkansas to serve as co-chair of the Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform.

Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform - Pursuant to section 30442(b)(3) of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-123), the Democratic Leader jointly appointed with the Minority Leader of the Senate the Honorable Nita Lowey of New York to serve as co-chair of the Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform.

Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans - Pursuant to section 30422(b)(3) of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-123), and the order of the House of January 3, 2017, the Speaker and the Majority Leader of the Senate jointly appointed Mr. Hatch (UT) to the Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans as co-chair.
