DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on H.R. 6691.

Rule provides for consideration of H.R. 6691 with 1 hour of general debate. Previous question shall be considered as ordered without intervening motions except motion to recommit. Measure will be considered read. Bill is closed to amendments. Section 2 provides that at any time on the legislative day of September 13, 2018, it shall be in order for the Speaker to entertain motions that the House suspend the rules as though under clause 1 of rule XV.

Considered under the provisions of rule H. Res. 1051. H.R. 6691 — "To amend title 18, United States Code, to clarify the definition of "crime of violence", and for other purposes."
