UNFINISHED BUSINESS - The Chair announced that the unfinished business was the question on passage of H.J. Res. 46, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding and on motions to suspend the rules, which had been debated earlier and on which further proceedings had been postponed.

Considered as unfinished business.

At the conclusion of debate, the Yeas and Nays were demanded and ordered. Pursuant to the provisions of clause 8, rule XX, the Chair announced that further proceedings on the motion would be postponed.

Mr. Grijalva moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill. H.R. 297 — "To extend the Federal recognition to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana, and for other purposes."

POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - Pursuant to rule 8, rule 20, the Chair postponed further proceedings on the question of passage of H.J. Res. 46, the objections of the President to the contrary notwithstanding, until later in the legislative day.

The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on March 26, 2019, at 9:21 a.m.: that the Senate passed S. 863.

Mr. Grijalva moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill. H.R. 1388 — "To take lands in Sonoma County, California, into trust as part of the reservation of the Lytton Rancheria of California, and for other purposes."

The Speaker announced that votes on suspensions, if ordered, will be postponed until a time to be announced.
