POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on the Torres Small amendment, the Chair put the question on the amendment and by voice vote, announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Nadler demanded a recorded vote and the Chair postponed further proceedings on agreeing to the amendment until a time to be announced.

DEBATE - Pursuant to the provisions of H. Res. 281, the Committee of the Whole proceeded with 10 minutes of debate on the Torres Small amendment No. 40.

An amendment, offered by Ms. Torres Small (NM), numbered 40 printed in Part B of House Report 116-32 to ensure all provisions of the bill comply with immigration laws.

An amendment, offered by Mrs. Axne, numbered 39 printed in Part B of House Report 116-32 to increase STOP grants from $40 million to $60 million.

The House resolved into Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union for further consideration.

An amendment, offered by Mr. Rouda, numbered 32 printed in Part B of House Report 116-32 to give college campuses the opportunity to include all participants involved with the resolution process in training, which identifies and responds to crimes of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The resolution process in training members include the Title IX coordinator's office as well as the office of student conduct.
