The House received a communication from Ryan Ethington, Legislative Director, Office of Congressman Lance Gooden. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Ethington notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for testimony and documents issued by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and that after consultation with the Office of the General Counsel, he had determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
