UNFINISHED BUSINESS - The Chair announced that the unfinished business was on passage of S.J. Res. 34, which was debated earlier and on which further proceedings had been postponed.

Mr. Flores moved to table the appeal of the Chair.

Ms. Lofgren moved to appeal the ruling of the Chair.

A QUESTION OF THE PRIVILEGES OF THE HOUSE - Ms. Lofgren was recognized to be heard on the question of whether or not her previously noticed resolution constituted a point of privilege. Subsequently, the Chair ruled that the resolution did not constitute a point of privilege.

POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on S.J. Res. 34, the Chair put the question on passage and by voice vote, announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Doyle demanded the yeas and nays and the Chair postponed further proceedings on the question of passage until a time to be announced.
