DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on H. Res. 918.

Considered as privileged matter. H. Res. 918 — "Providing for consideration of the Senate amendment to the bill (H.R. 3249) to authorize the Project Safe Neighborhoods Grant Program, and for other purposes; providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 8) to provide for improvements to the rivers and harbors of the United States, to provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, and for other purposes; and providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 5895) making appropriations for energy and water development and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2019, and for other purposes."

SPEAKER'S APPROVAL OF THE JOURNAL - The Chair announced that he had examined the Journal of the last day's proceedings and had approved it. Mr. Schneider demanded that the question be put on agreeing to the Speaker's approval of the Journal and by voice vote, the Chair announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Schneider demanded the yeas and nays and the Chair postponed further proceedings until later in the legislative day.

MOMENT OF SILENCE - The House observed a moment of silence in honor of those who have been killed or wounded in service to our country and all those who serve and their families.

ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches which by direction of the Chair, would be limited to 15 per side of the aisle.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Ms. Stefanik to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of June 6.

The Speaker announced that the House do now recess. The next meeting is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. today.

The House received a message from the Senate. The Senate passed H.R. 2333, and H.R. 4743. Senate agreed to H. Con. Res. 113.

MORNING-HOUR DEBATE - The House proceeded with Morning-Hour Debate. At the conclusion of Morning-Hour, the House will recess until 12:00 p.m. for the start of legislative business.

The Speaker designated the Honorable Darrell E. Issa to act as Speaker pro tempore for today.

The House convened, starting a new legislative day.

Supporting State, local, and community initiatives to encourage parents, teachers, camp counselors, and childcare professionals to take measures to prevent sunburns in the minors they care for, and expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that State, local, and community entities should continue to support efforts to curb the incidences of skin cancer beginning with childhood skin protection.
