The House received a communication from the Honorable William R. Timmons IV. Mr. Timmons submitted his resignation from the Committee on the Budget. The resignation was accepted without objection.

DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on H. Res. 591.

Considered as privileged matter. H. Res. 591 — "Providing for consideration of the joint resolution (S.J. Res. 54) relating to a national emergency declared by the President on February 15, 2019."
