POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on the Young(AK) amendment, the Chair put the question on adoption of the amendment and by voice vote announced that the ayes had prevailed. Ms. Jayapal demanded a recorded vote, and the Chair postponed further proceedings on the question of adoption of the amendment until a time to be announced.

DEBATE - Pursuant to the provisions of H. Res. 504, the Committee of the Whole proceeded with 10 minutes of debate on the Young (AK) amendment No. 44.

An amendment, offered by Mr. Young (AK), numbered 44 printed in House Report 115-297 to prohibit funds from this Act to be used by the Department of Interior t o change existing placer mining plans of operations in regard to re-vegetation.
