On agreeing to the Perry amendment; Agreed to by voice vote.

An amendment, offered by Mr. Carbajal, numbered 57 printed in House Report 115-297 to state that none of the funds made available by this Act may be used to process any application under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (43 U.S.C. 1331 et seq.) for a permit to drill or a permit to modify, that would authorize use of hydraulic fracturing or acid well stimulation treatment in the Pacific Outer Continental Shelf.

DEBATE - Pursuant to the provisions of H. Res. 504, the Committee of the Whole proceeded with 10 minutes of debate on the Perry amendment No. 59.

An amendment, offered by Mr. Perry, numbered 59 printed in House Report 115-297 to prohibit funds from being used to give formal notification under, or prepare, propose, implement, administer, or enforce any rule or recommendation pursuant to, section 115 of the Clean Air Act.

POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on the Carbajal amendment, the Chair put the question on adoption of the amendment and by voice vote announced that the noes had prevailed. Mr. Carbajal demanded a recorded vote, and the Chair postponed further proceedings on the question of adoption of the amendment until a time to be announced.
