The House received a communication from The Honorable Bill Shuster, Chairman, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Mr. Shuster notified the House that on April 12, 2018, pursuant to section 3307 of Title 40, United States Code, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure met in open session to consider 16 resolutions included in the General Service Administration's Capital Investment and Leasing Programs and that the Committee continues to work to reduce the cost of federal property leases. The 16 resolutions considered include 11 lease prospectuses, four special emphasis program prospectuses, and one acquisition and represent $71 million in savings from avoided lease costs and space reductions. Referred to the Committee on Appropriations and ordered to be printed.
