Mr. Simpson asked unanimous consent That when the House adjourns on Friday, September 7, 2018, it adjourn to meet at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018, and further when the House adjourns on that day, it adjourn to meet on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, when it shall convene at noon for morning-hour debate and 2 p.m. for legislative business. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on September 7, 2018 at 1:36 p.m.: That the Senate passed S. 1417, S. 1586, H.R. 302, as amended, and H.R. 6124. The Senate also agrees to Conference with the House of Representatives on H.R. 6147 and H.R. 6157.
