The House received a communication from The Honorable Bill Shuster, Chairman, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Chairman Shuster notified the House that on September 27, 2018, pursuant to section 3307 of title 40, United States Code, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure met in open session to consider 19 resolutions included in the General Services Administration's Capital Investment and Leasing Programs. The 19 resolutions considered include 11 alteration prospectuses, five lease prospectuses, and two construction prospectuses and represent $700 million in savings from avoided lease costs and space reductions. The message also included copies of the resolutions adopted by the Committee which were referred to the Committee on Appropriations.
