ADMINISTRATION OF THE OATH OF OFFICE - The Speaker administered the Oath of Office to a Member-elect of the 116th Congress who was absent during the Oath of Office administered on January 3, 2019.

ONE MINUTE SPEECHES - The House proceeded with one minute speeches which by direction of the Chair, would be limited to 15 per side of the aisle.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Ms. Johnson of TX to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
