Mr. Grijalva moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill. H.R. 375 — "To amend the Act of June 18, 1934, to reaffirm the authority of the Secretary of the Interior to take land into trust for Indian Tribes, and for other purposes."

The Speaker announced that votes on suspensions, if ordered, will be postponed until a time to be announced.

Ms. DeLauro filed a report from the Committee on Appropriations on H.R. 2740.

The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on May 15, 2019 at 9:39 a.m.: That the Senate passed S. 1231 and S. 1436 and made an appointment to the Senate National Security Working Group.
