The Clerk transmitted to the House a scanned copy of a letter received from Katelyn Love, General Counsel, North Carolina State Board of Elections, indicating that, according to the preliminary results of the Special Election held September 10, 2019, the Honorable Gregory Murphy was elected to Representative to Congress for the Third Congressional District, State of North Carolina.
